Chess piece dragging problems

Basic recovery

Release the pointer, press Escape and refresh the position once. Confirm the browser zoom is at a normal level and that no page overlay remains open.

Offset dragged piece

A piece far from the cursor usually indicates conflicting transforms or an incompatible drag-preview override. The board should use its own supported drag system rather than a global native-drag replacement.

Report the issue

Include the mode, device, browser, board orientation and whether click-to-move still works.
